The term “Digital Twin” or “Digital Twin of Attica” refers to the digital twin solution and its associated services. The term “users” refers to anyone accessing or using the Digital Twin. "Data" refers to all information provided, generated, or processed within the Digital Twin.

Use of the Digital Twin

The Digital Twin is intended for professional and research purposes related to water and climate applications. Unauthorized access, modification, or distribution of the Digital Twin's content is prohibited.

Data Privacy and Security

The Platform collects and processes data in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials. The digital twin reserves the right to anonymize and analyze aggregated data for research and development purposes.

Intellectual Property

All content, including software, algorithms, and visualizations, is the intellectual property of the UWMH, unless otherwise stated. Users retain ownership of uploaded data (when relevant) but grant the Digital Twin a non-exclusive, limited license to use it for operational purposes.

Service Availability and Modifications

The Digital Twin is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for continuous availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Digital Twin at our discretion.

Limitation of Liability, Compliance and Restrictions

Users are responsible for ensuring that outputs generated by the Digital Twin are interpreted correctly and used appropriately. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the Digital Twin. Any misuse, including attempts to compromise system security or manipulate data, will result in immediate revocation of access rights.

Expandability and Future Development

The Digital Twin is designed to be expandable, allowing for integration with additional data sources, analytical tools, simulation models, pilots and services. Users may suggest additional features, which may be considered for future updates.

Change to Terms and Conditions and Acceptance

UWMH reserves the right to modify the Digital Twin's site, policies, service terms, and these conditions of use at any time. Should any of these conditions be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be considered severable and will not impact the validity and enforceability of the remaining conditions. Users of the Digital Twin are responsible for periodically reviewing these terms and conditions of use. Continued use of the site and services of the Digital Twin following any modifications to the terms and conditions of use will be regarded as acceptance of those terms and their modifications.
